Our workflow
Pages move through draft, source verification, applicable professional review and publication controls. A software or AI verification pass is not recorded as human professional review. A deployment does not automatically change a publication or “last reviewed” date.
Evidence rules
- Prefer current official New Zealand policy wording and insurer documentation.
- Use regulators, legislation and public authorities for legal, tax, ACC and privacy context.
- Distinguish a product fact from a brand-wide claim.
- Check effective and commencement dates before treating a change as operative.
- Record unknown when reliable evidence is missing.
- Do not invent price averages, claims ratios, market shares, strength ratings, testimonials or adviser credentials.
Writing and review
We use plain New Zealand English, answer the material question early, and explain assumptions and decision criteria. Public factual content can be published with its current status visible. The educational calculator is published with its unreviewed status and limitations stated plainly; personalised recommendations, advice functionality, referral disclosures and live collection notices remain inactive until their applicable human review and operating approvals are recorded.
Corrections
A correction request should identify the page, statement and supporting source. Contact A1 Websites using the published phone route. A substantive change should retain the prior claim, reason, reviewer where applicable and date in the internal audit history.
Source changes
The source registry connects source identifiers to claims and affected pages. A scheduled or manual check may flag a changed, removed or expired document. Flags enter a review queue; they never publish unreviewed changes automatically.
